In this module participants will be introduced to the role a faculty member has in an institution’s accreditation and program approval process. While each institution’s process is different, the participants will be familiarized with a general process flow and general roles faculty play in the accreditation and program approval process. This is a self-paced course where you will review 3 sections with 28 pages discussing regional accreditation. The course discusses faculties role in institutions accreditation and program approval, and discusses the different types of review needed for proposals. This course contains activities to assist in your understanding of the topic. The outcome from this course is to understand regional accreditation.
