Rubber Compression Moulding Operator

The Rubber Compression Moulding Operator is responsible for operating the curing/press machine. The individual is responsible for preparing the green compound in case of simple moulding and loading to correct weight/volume in the press.


The rubber compression moulding machine operator is  responsible for operating the machine and feeding the rubber  compound and other required materials into the machine for  making rubber parts. The NSQF level for this job role is 4. The candidate should be at least VIII standard passed and have a minimum experience of 3-6 months in the same job. This job teaches the candidate to:- carry out preparation of compression moulding machine including raw material preparation and pre-operation cleaning and inspection. carry out compression moulding operation while following standard operating procedure. carry out post process activities like buffing and deflashing the produced parts, and cleaning the mould and machine for the next cycle. carry out housekeeping activities on the shop floor to maintain cleanliness. carry out reporting and documenting the compression moulding activities performed. carry out quality checks of the produced parts and deal with rejected parts as per the standard operation procedure. carry out problem identification and escalation so that every problem gets rectified within time to increase productivity. carry out health and safety procedures as laid down by the company.
